X: Beyond the Frontier is a videogame created by German software company Egosoft for the PC. Released in 1999 by SouthPeak Interactive, it is sometimes abbreviated to X: BtF.It is a space simulation game with open-ended gameplay set in the X Universe, whereby the player can choose whether to concentrate on trading or fighting or a balance of both strategies.
