Biography X-Static
X-Static is a Hall & Oates album that was released in 1979 by RCA Records. Buddha Records re-released it with two bonus tracks in 2000. The song "Portable Radio" was used in episode two of the Internet series Yacht Rock, when the Hall & Oates characters were involved in a fictional songwriting competition against Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald. The characters used a portable radio similar to the one featured on the album cover.
