The
Warren Brothers are an American country music singer-songwriter duo consisting of brothers Brett and Brad Warren. Signed to BNA Records in 1997, the duo made its debut on the American country music scene in 1998 with its debut album
Beautiful Day in the Cold Cruel World. To date, the duo has recorded three studio albums, and has charted nine singles on the U.S.
Billboard country singles charts. Their highest-charting is "Move On", which peaked at #18 in late 2001-early 2002. In addition, the Warren brothers have co-written singles for such country music artists as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Martina McBride.
Background
Brad and Brett Warren grew up in Tampa, Florida. They previously headlined local bands including a Christian rock band called St. Warren. The group had been signed BNA Records in 1997. Later, they were then discovered by Faith Hill, who with husband Tim McGraw brought the brothers on board with them as the opening act of McGraw and Hill's Soul2Soul Tour in 2000. CMT signed the brothers to their own reality TV series called
Barely Famous: The Warren Brothers.
The Warren Brothers have also co-written singles for other artists, including Tim McGraw ("If You're Reading This"), Faith Hill ("The Lucky One", "Red Umbrella"), and Martina McBride ("Anyway").
