Mere Theory are a South Australian indie rock band.The band formed in 2000, and since then have supported the following bands: Millencolin, Alexisonfire, Rufio, Unwritten Law, MXPX, Anberlin, The Juliana Theory, Off Minor, Bouncing Souls, Midtown, Useless ID, Dropkick Murphys, Your Black Star, Gyroscope, After the Fall, Frenzal Rhomb, Shihad, Bodyjar, Grinspoon, COG, Kisschasy, The Hot Lies, The Open Season, One Dollar Short, BlueLine Medic, 28 Days, Antiskeptic, I Killed the Prom Queen, and The Nation Blue.
