Never Get Old
Thu, 25 Jun 2009 21:20:00 +0100In 1987 Sinéad O’Connor released her album called “The Lion And The Cobra”. An album on which she collaborates with Enya! The title of the album is from Psalm 91:13 “you will tread upon the lion and cobra”, and the track “Never Get Old” opens with a recital of Psalm 91 in Gaelic by Enya. Battle Theme and Attack are also exciting action tracks. The action is never overdone and keeps pace with the film. The love cues are expressive - sweeping, with nice solos from the... Mon, 01 Jun 2009 10:22:00 +0100For me, the heart of any memorable song is a vocalist's ability to emotionally connect with her audience. Ironically then, with the rise of the superstar DJ over the last decade it is rare to see a vocalist billed as a headliner. While this is a topic for another day, I wanted to give props to some of the ladies that have inspired me to make house music. Paris Gray and Inner City - Whatcha gonna do with my loving? Her smooth vocals made this cover of a Stephanie Mills track into an original interpretation. I absolutely love her understated but seductive... (Read complete news)
