Sun, 10 Aug 2008 15:24:00 +0100Takka Takka released Migration on July 29th on Ernest Jenning Record Co. Pitchfork gives it a 7.2 out of 10 while Spin gives it 4.5 out 5. Here is a line from the Spin review: "Crisp guitar melodies weave a delicate latticework with the taut, understated polyrhythms of drummer Conrad Doucette." Alright, I am not exactly high brow like that so this is the deal with Takka Takka as far as I am concerned. It holds my attention and is mellow. It does not rock.
